Welcome

I love to create! Sometimes my creations look like art. I studied visual art in college and earned a BA with honors from Brown University. These days, I work/play/make things in my backyard studio in New York's Hudson Valley. 

I work with many different mediums including (but not limited to!) fiber, paint, natural and unnatural found objects (like dried flowers and plastic bags). Lately, I've been using recycled fabric and found materials to make soft sculptures. 

I am inspired by the things that light up my face and yours. Also: nature, imaginary creatures, the minds of children, upcycling, and interbeing...just to name a few.
